Meet Coach,
Fedor Nikolov
Coach Fedor Nikolov is a black belt in jiu jitsu with a lifelong passion for martial arts and teaching. Born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia, he began his journey in combat sports through Sambo, Russia’s national sport. After discovering jiu jitsu, Fedor quickly fell in love with its technical nature, creativity, and the freedom it allows practitioners to express their own style.
In 2021, he moved to Los Angeles and began training at Eddie Bravo’s gym, where his dedication and talent led him to become one of Eddie’s protégés. He later earned his black belt under Eddie. Fedor is also an accomplished competitor, having participated in respected events such as EBI, Combat Jiu Jitsu Worlds, UFC Fight Pass Invitational, and PGF Seasons 5 and 7 — a demanding four-day tournament that tests both individual skill and team performance.
What truly sets Fedor apart is his approach to coaching. He has a genuine love for helping people grow, whether they are stepping onto the mat for the first time or refining their skills at an advanced level. He creates a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable, challenged, and inspired to improve. We are grateful to have Fedor as part of our coaching team and community.
