Meet Head Coach of AILA’s Kid’s Program,
Aleksandr Ustimenko (Coach Sasha)
Coach Sasha is the Head Coach of AILA’s Kid’s Program, where he excels at creating a safe, positive, and fun environment for kids to learn and grow through jiu jitsu. Coach Sasha teaches and organizes our kid’s classes, monthly tournaments, and camps. His greatest reward comes from watching kids develop enthusiasm, skill, physical fitness, and mental resilience— while having a great time.
A black belt in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Shotokan-style Karate, Coach Sasha has spent the past 10 years growing his personal practice and competing in BJJ at national and international competitions (he’s won over 50 medals). His dedication to the sport, commitment to personal excellence, and focus on staying current with evolving techniques make him an exceptional leader, role model, and member of our community.
Coach Sasha is also a respected and sought-after referee at major jiu jitsu events.
AILA is grateful to have Coach Sasha as a core member of our community and team!
